Virtual production work. Includes full renders of scenes to showcase the progress of current work. This work was made in Unreal Engine 5. The first scenes I made were with Production Park Wakefield. These renders were part of course I undertook introducing me into the virtual production Pipeline.
The Process
When building interior scenes I have found it best to use a floor plan to map out the walls, that way I can create accurate adjacent rooms, and keep track of where windows will need to be to ensure proper lighting from the sun. I used daytime in the beginning to brighten the room and see how most of the light from the sun to see plan the interior, I switched to wireframe and turned off light sources to make the walls and ceilings blend together to minimise gaps.
Conclusion
The final renders involved piecing what  I wanted the scene to be and what story I would tell. The narrative would explore a haunted study in a manor looking over a foggy moor. The moon illuminated the interior with a soft blue light mingling with the warm candles. It is inviting yet cold. The renders below show each section of the level using cine cameras with wider shots and exteriors showcasing how the scene is put together.
